HOW TO SCAN WITH MALWAREBYTES 4.0.4?
There are 3 scan types – Threat Scan, Custom Scan, and Quick Scan.
Threat scan : This one is your daily scan . It scans all the places malware is understood to cover, including Memory, Startup, Registry and filing system Objects.
Custom scan : It helps you to scan where and what you would like to scan. Enables you to customize the treatment of probably Unwanted Programs (PUPs) and Modifications (PUMs).
Quick scan :. the fast Scan Check for threats in your memory and startup object Areas and methods tested include:
Memory Objects: Memory which has been allocated by OS processes, drivers, and other applications.
Startup Objects: Executable files and/or modifications which can be initiated at computer startup.
To perform threat scan
1. Firstly launch malwarebytes 4.0.4.
2. On the left pane of dashboard click on the scan tab.
3. Now select threat scan.
4. Followed by clicking start scan button.
To perform custom scan
1. Firstly Launch Malwarebytes 4.0.4.
2. On the left pane of dashboard click on the scan tab.
3. Now select custom scan.
4. Followed by clicking configure scan button.
5. Select the specified drive letter to the proper of the Custom Scan configuration screen. Now to pick a person items or folders, just click on the drop menu next to the check boxfor that letter drive and check the box next to every item to be included within the scan.
6. Choose the other custom scan settings desired by checking those boxes and selecting how PUPs and PUMs are going to be treated when detected.
7. Click on the beginning scan button.
To perform a hyper scan
1. Firstly launch malwarebytes 4.0.4.
2. On the left pane of dashboard click on the scan tab.
3. Now select hyper scan.

To schedule an automatic Threat or Hyper scan:
1. First Launch Malwarebytes.
2. Now click the Settings tab within the left pane.
3. Then click the Scan Schedule tab within the top pane.
4. Click on the Add button within the scan schedule screen.
5. within the Add Schedule window, select the Operation type, Starting Date and Time, Schedule Frequency and Recurrence. Click the Advanced button for more settings like Scheduled Options and Recovery Options.
6. Click OK.
